Higher Deposit Yields, Lower Fees, Competitive Mortgage Rates

On August 27, 2012, Hudson City Bancorp, Inc. (“Hudson City”) entered into a merger agreement to be acquired by M&T Bank Corporation (“M&T”) in a stock and cash transaction. If the merger is completed, Hudson City will merge with and into Wilmington Trust Corporation, a direct, wholly owned subsidiary of M&T.
