TO REPORT A LOST OR STOLEN ATM OR DEBIT CARD OR PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (PIN):
- During normal business hours, please call 1-201-967-1900, ext. 3749, or
- During non-business hours call our Bank By Phone system at 1-866-448-9498, select option 4 on the Main Menu, Deactivate Card, and contact your branch as soon as possible.
Protect Yourself from Common Scams
There is an ongoing series of fraudulent scams using emails, counterfeit websites and automated telephone dialing systems that attempt to obtain personal information. This appears to be an international problem affecting a large number of banks with ongoing investigations being conducted on multiple levels. Hudson City, like any legitimate bank, will never ask its customers for personal or account information in an email, telephone call or letter. People who receive such communications should notify their financial institution if you become aware of any attempts to obtain any type of personal information through any means.
